Masiphile Community Care Centre:

Fighting HIV/AIDS and poverty,
and supporting our neighbors in
KwaZulu-Natal's Ntabamhlophe Area.

Masiphile Community Care Centre was started in 2001 by Nonhlanhla Radebe and a dedicated group of board members who recognized the need for support and services for persons living with HIV/AIDS. KwaZulu-Natal has the highest rate of HIV/AIDS in all of South Africa's nine provinces. MCCC's programs now include:

• A home-based care program in which volunteers assist people with chronic illnesses

• Support groups for people who are HIV positive

• A crèche for children aged 1-4, some of whom are orphans and vulnerable children

• A parent support group called the Child Care Forum

• A community garden to provide food to low-income families, as well as serving as a distribution point for food items donated by the Dept. of Agriculture

• A socialization, support, and education group for elders, the Luncheon Club

• Under construction: an income-generating project for selling chickens and eggs

Please support Masiphile to carry out our mission, donate today.

Thank you for stopping by, we appreciate your interest and your support. Be well!
